Gym Training for Strength and Power

At Central Fitness we cater for a variety of athletes in our specialist functional training area known simply as the “Powerhouse”.

With a variety of unique pieces of equipment designed to develop explosive force, foot speed, core stability, balance and full body co-ordination along with driving the main urge of most sportsmen and women; the desire to compete and the desire to win.

Power training is suitable and advantageous to the following types of sport:

In addition to this lighter variations of this training are massively beneficial to people who would like to get fitter, stronger and more flexible in a functional manner. Be it developing the strength to carry your shopping or play with your children – functional fitness is both a fun and rewarding way to get in shape without spending hours training.
